How to Take Neck Measurements
- Get a soft measuring tape - Use a flexible fabric measuring tape for the most accurate results.
- Stand naturally - Keep your posture relaxed and natural, not stiff.
- Wrap the tape around your neck - Place the measuring tape around the base of your neck where your collar would naturally sit.
- Keep it comfortable - The tape should be snug but not tight. You should be able to fit one or two fingers between the tape and your neck.
- Read the measurement - Note the measurement in inches, rounding up to the nearest half inch.
- Add ease for comfort - Add ½ inch to your actual neck measurement for a comfortable shirt fit.
